Q: How does this tool calculate the daily cost increase?
Ans: Our algorithm is designed to use the lower calorific value (LCV) difference between pure fuels and 2026 blends. While E20 petrol has 4.5% less energy density, meaning your auxiliary equipment might burn more volume to achieve the same power output.
Q: Is E20 dangerous for my Honda machine?
Ans: If the machine model is pre-2023, there is a risk of fuel line “sweating” and carburettor clogging. It is because of the hygroscopic nature of ethanol.
Q: Does the B20 biodiesel blend impact the piling rig performance?
Ans: Generally, no, but it does act as a solvent. For older models of piling rig, the first fuel tank of B20 “scrubs” the fuel tank and leads to clogging.
